THE GAY MAN WITH EARLY ONSET DEMENTIA WHO'S IMPROVING THE CARE SYSTEM FOR LGBTQ PEOPLE

Get to know Patrick Ettenes

Diagnosed at 31 with frontal atrophy dementia, Patrick has, at 39 already outlived his life expectancy.

His resilience has not only enabled him to take charge of his life again, but has also empowered him to make a difference over the years to the life of others, primarily by promoting visibility and support for others who, identify as LGBTIQ and are living with dementia, and who otherwise would have had nowhere to turn to.

Patrick's talk is taking place at Casa Arkati, Mosta in collaboration with CareMalta and the Malta Dementia Society.
